West Shore Branch YMCA
The West Shore Branch was founded in 1952 and moved to its present location in Hampden Township in 1972. A building expansion in 1983 brought the square footage of this branch to 52,000 square feet.
The West Shore Branch YMCA is challenged to increase capability and deliver services to all age groups in a rapidly expanding community. Their expanding facility will allow the
YMCA to better serve their growing population. The West Shore Branch YMCA plans to address the following facility projects to complete its capital improvement objectives:

- New Youth/Teen Center
- Youth Computer Center
- Senior Activity Center
- Community Activity Areas
Renovated/Remodeled:
- Expanded the Wellness and Free Weight Centers
- Increased the size of the Child Watch area
- Installed an elevator for total facility accessibility
- Expanded Lobby
Scope Increase:
- Water Park serving youth and families
- Special Needs Locker Room
